The Innovation Engineering Leadership Summit shows you innovation reimagined through the application of system thinking to strategy, innovation, and how your team works together.   

It’s a true leadership experience - you are exposed to the fundamentals of HOW to innovate - but the bulk of the time is spent on the role leaders of company’s, divisions, or departments play in enabling those working for them to innovate with increased speed and decreased risk. 

This course is a top line overview of the 6 College Courses that make up Innovation Engineering.  As a result you will not be exposed to or “Master” the full body of knowledge. Rather you will be certified as an Innovation Engineering Silver Belt with a functional awareness that enables you to lead and enable your people as they accelerate innovation.  You are encouraged, but not required to attend and complete Innovation Engineering System Course and complete Black Belt Certification.

The Real World of Disruptive Innovation

This dinner experience sets the expectations for the summit.  A case study on the Brain Brew Whiskey Company shares the “nitty gritty” world of wow innovations in both product and operational systems.  You’ll learn how in just 18 months, using Innovation Engineering the company went from a start up to winning Double Gold Medals and beating top Scotches and Bourbons 3 to 1 in taste tests.

How to Enable Faster, Smarter Innovation 

This is an intensive day as you are provided with an overview understanding of the 6 Innovation Engineering college courses in just 1 day. Importantly - you are also challenged to “connect the dots” between  the latest science on innovation and your business situation right now.   The result is numerous mind opening “eureka” moments.

Advanced Methods for Enabling Innovation 

The day starts with a 4 step method for busting bureaucratic barriers to change.   This is followed by advanced methods for amplifying the impact of your strategy and for igniting employee engagement in working smarter, faster and more creatively.  Again, you are challenged to “connect the dots” to your world.  At the end of the second day - you will be tired.  However, it’s a a good tired - as you will feel that you have done some deep and meaningful thinking about your business while acquiring tools to be a better leader.
